Howdy! My name is Shorty, and I'm a fluffy black and white harlequin (mostly white with patches of black) Domestic Medium Hair fella with thick, soft fur who was born in July 2020. I'm a sweet, playful, energetic dude who loves to chase a resident cat through the tube toy. In fact, I'm friendly with all the other cats in my foster home -- even the old curmudgeon one. I love to explore new things -- silverware, pens, Meowmy's touchpad computer -- as I look for new toys to play with. It makes my foster family laugh out loud! When I'm playing, I'm non-stop energy, but when I'm all tuckered out, I'm ready to be a lap cat. Foster Daddy brags that I watched the entire Rockets game with him from his lap. I also entertain myself by watching the birds and squirrels at the feeder, and I make a cute chattering sound as I stare at them through the glass. I had a rough start when I wandered into my foster family's garage when I was 3 months old. I was a pitiful sight: malnourished and missing hair on most of my body due to mange. I was so weak that all I wanted to do was cuddle and purr. I had to be in isolation for 3 months because of the mange, but I was so good. I didn't even make a peep during all the trips to the vet. I had one week to play with the other resident cats before getting fixed and back to isolation for a week. Now that I've recovered, I'm ready to find my forever home. I'm so friendly, sweet, and loving and get along with other kitties so well that there are plenty of homes where I'd fit in like a glove. Could that be with you?
