Intake Date: 9 Jan 2021----- Age: 2 yrs ----- Breed: Parson Russell Terrier----- Size: 20 lbs ----- Status: Owner Surrender ----- Compatible with: children, some dogs and cats ----- Suitable for: home with fenced yard ----- Medical/Behavioral Needs: Came with aggression issues towards the other animals in the home. ----- Additional Notes: Kipper is a handsome guy! He came to FBS as an owner surrender. His family worked with him for a long time trying to get him compatible with the other jacks in the home but Kipper just wasn't having it. He is doing good here with the animals at FBS so far but he is still new so it's all unknown to him. We will know more as he settles in and gets neutered. He does display some dominance so maybe a home with larger dogs. So far, he is shy and a bit standoffish with new people but otherwise, has been adjusting well. This is not a breed for the passive or inactive. Once processed and approved a meet and greet can be scheduled and if a match an adoption can be finalized at that time. FBS standard adoption fee is $175. All residents are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and treated for any known medical needs. Breeds are best guess. Housetraining is not guaranteed but crate training is worked on with all residents. A secure physically fenced yard is required.
