Isn't he a handsome boy?! General is a large mature German Shepherd boy with a black saddle on a medium coat. He was found as an abandoned boy who was emaciated and suffering from an infestation of ticks & fleas on top of other skin issues. He is now a VERY healthy and gorgeous boy! He is MOUTHY boy in that he loves 'to play with his mouth and large paws'. General has a loud bellowing voice to alert you to cars in the driveway/visitors but quiets down quickly if consoled that 'it's a welcome visitor!' He has some PTSD from previous abuse so a slow approach helps him to meet strangers [EX : don't run up an hug him, best to sit and extend a hand]. We recommend an experienced owner, preferably an 'alpha female' and due to his large size, no young children. He is fine with non-aggressive other dog[s] as he LOVES to play. He is neutered, HW- & on preventatives, UTD on rabies and all of his shots!
