About Journey

I'm just a small town girl who arrived into PA looking for her forever family. My name is Journey and I'm a 2 year old, 43 lb female Birddog mix. My foster mama says don't stop believing that there are good people in the world. She'll keep me safe until the perfect match is found for me. I'm house and crate trained. Your donations sponsored my heartworm treatment. I'm dog and kid friendly. I haven't shared if I've met any cats so my foster mom isn't sure. They gave me a bath and kept exclaiming I did a good job. Not sure what that means!? I do great in the car and they tell me I'm a dream on a leash. I'm spayed and have my shots. Right now I'm waiting on my blanket in Harrisburg, PA. If you give me a chance, I'll be forever yours, faithfully. We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $300 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $350 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate.
