About Irene

This spotted beauty is Irene! Irene is a playful and confident 3 year old (53#) Bulldog mix. Irene loves being with her foster family and can play nicely with the resident dogs. Irene does show an interest in following the indoor cat, but with boundaries and a safe place for the cats, they have been able to cohabitate in their foster home. Irene is housebroken and crate trained. Irene was treated for heartworm down south, and has responded well to treatment. Irene's perfect family should be able to provide endless cuddles and bottomless treats! Her perfect family should also be able to enforce structure and the rules of the house. She loves to learn and have a job to do and has been learning commands quickly. Currently, Irene is UTD on vaccines and preventatives, she is also spayed and microchipped. We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $300 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $350 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate.
