About

Adoption Fee: $75
Maine Coon / Ragdoll
Age: Young Kitten
Sex: Female

Wallabi Scruffie Muffin is a precious chocolate black and white long hair female kitten almost 3mo old. Her adoption fee is $75. She has been vetted and spayed. Although younger than most, she is the typical apartment dump. People sneak in cute animals, get caught or move and now it's time to throw them away with the trash. She had scratch marks all over from being bullied by the adult strays and covered in motor oil from sleeping up underneath vehicles to keep warm and stay alive at night. Somebody heard her cries for help and she was saved. IF YOU CAN NOT TAKE CARE OF A LIFE THEN GET HELP! ABANDONING AN ANIMAL TO DIE ALONE IS CRUEL AND AGAINST THE LAW. Even though she has been through such a difficult and unfortunate start, she is healthy, thriving and has much love to give. She is gentle and kind, very shy, yet confident. She will sit like a statue in the middle of the room or even between your legs. She may cower if you reach for her too quickly but as soon as you pick her up and she knows you are there to love her and she melts like putty in your hands. She has such a soft and quite purr, almost like a little hum. She is not a talker but when you bring the can food out, you'll hear her little humm as she sits dead center in front of your legs waiting for it. So yes! She is food motivated. She loves to be babied and will require lots of attention and love. She loves being carried around the house and especially loves the shirt hammock, holding her firm up against her people. She loves being pet and she'll make gentle biscuits on your arm, no claws! Wallabi's favorite toys are hair ties and plastic grocery bags of course with the handles cut off so she doesn't get hung up in one. She basically entertains herself. She doesn't seem to have an interest in other kittens but a kitten loving adult cat that would take her under a wing would be perfect. Bottom line, she is not perfect. She will not just go into a new home and own it, but the more love and attention she gets the more confidence she will get. She is absolutely the sweetest baby in the world, but she will be timid with her people at first. She won't hide. She loves to be out in the open but she won't come when called and she will run away if they try to pick her up or force her. She needs an understanding calm person who will be patient with her progress, pick her up and hold her and love her as much as they can. As long as they are persistent but kind, she won't run far and she will just cower but as soon as you put her in your arms she purrs and rubs all over your face. Your reward for patience and love will be a bond like no other. Try interactive toys like feather on a stick, shoe lace drag, a laser lite as well as the 'Fling ama String' and the $2 'cat dancer' toy with her and boxes. She has been free fed Iams kitten quality hard food (the first ingredient beginning with meat) and she gets quality canned food Tiki Cat Puka Puka Luau, morning and night. Her favorite flavor is the succulent shredded chicken. She needs kitten food until she is 1 year old. She loves kitty treats in small dosages while young, a rectangle corrugated scratcher that lays flat on the floor and a tall cat tree sitting in front of the window with the sun rays beaming in. She will expect to sleep with you. Below information is for preventative purposes'| Too many male AND female cats are getting the UTI - urinary tract infection and crystals in their urine. It's a blockage, it's painful and if ignored will lead to death. Vets say the hard food is at fault because it does not deliver enough liquids. It's simple to monitor. Just make sure there is at least one good size pee ball in the litter box a day. Kitty fountains are effective to help manage a cats fluids. A diet of good quality canned food pate is better than dry food however there are some dry foods that are pH balanced and help maintain Urinary Tract - UT health like Blue Buffalo, Purina Pro Plan, Purina One UT health, Iams UT health.
