About Francine

URGENT: Francine is in need of urgent rescue! I am a rescuer helping a woman find a home for her sweet, beautiful pit bulls- 1 mama and 2 adult daughters. Francine's mama and sister have found an amazing adopter family but she is still looking for her forever, loving home! Her guardian and family is facing eviction if they keep her and Francine desperately needs a loving adopter! Her owner has considered euthanasia if an adoption isn't secured by mid February. She is convinced that taking Francine to a shelter would be a fate worse than death, so this baby really needs a savior! If I wasn't full up with my own fosters/rescues currently I would scoop her up myself. She's 4 years old, 60lbs, UTD on shots, and has a spay date set for January 28th at Young Williams Animal Center in Knoxville, TN. She will *NOT* be adopted until after she is spayed. Francine loves children, loves to snuggle, and is good with cats and male dogs. She's reactive towards female dogs (almost certainly because she is not spayed). She has a prey drive so will not do well in a home with tiny critters like pet rats, guinea pigs, etc. Francine is just a cuddle bug looking for a safe, loving home! She needs a hero to take her in and give her the forever, loving home she deserves! Interested applicants will need to answer some questions about home set up, provide a vet reference, do a meet n greet with Francine and entire household, sign adoption contract, and agree to home check or virtual tour of home and yard with proof of address.
