About Clive

When volunteers first met Clive, they could not get him out of his kennel because he was absolutely petrified of his new surroundings. When we met him last weekend it was like he was a brand-new dog! He was still nervous, but he interacted well with volunteers and loved the extra attention he was getting. He sits for treats and walks well on a leash. He did not care one bit about the cats nearby. He absolutely loves his friend Caldwell. He runs up to Caldwell and rolls on his back to start playing with him. We would love to see both Clive and Caldwell in foster or adoptive homes to see their amazing personalities blossom! Clive is currently a resident at Vermilion Parish Animal Control. He will be vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped upon placement in an adoptive or foster home. To adopt, complete the adoption application at AAVArescue.com.
