About Icicle

'Hello! My name is Icicle and I'm really excited to get to start my new life with you! You see, I came to SVASC after an animal control officer found me shivering alone, in the cold, without any kind of shelter. They quickly got me to the shelter and now I'm ready to find my new family! I am estimated to be about 2 years old and I am a big boy! I weigh around 85 almost 90 pounds, so my future adopter should be prepared to take home a horse of a dog. Even though I am quite literally huge, I am a big baby and love to be loved. I do need some work on manners and don't always understand that I'm not one big lapdog, so I will need a family that is dedicated to helping me be the best boy that I can! I would thrive in a home that has some good dog experience! I am pretty strong on the leash and so I would do well in a home with either a very strong human or in a home with a fenced yard for me to exercise in. I am pretty clean in my kennel, but staff is unsure of whether I have lived indoors or not. My future adopters should be prepared to help me adjust to being part of a family again; ask SVASC for tips on how to make my transition as smooth as possible. I am a very sweet boy, but because of my size, staff think that I would do best in a home without kiddos younger than teenagers. My adoption fee is $125 to an approved adopter.
