About Toby

Toby Tobias Tobe Tobester Tobemeister He is quite the hunk in small packaging. Toby is a very, very, loving boy who enjoys lap time whenever he's not playing. He would do well in a home that wants to continue working on his confidence and providing a home full of love, patience, and positive reinforcement. This Toby boy wants nothing more than to please his humans. He does need to be fed and treated separately from other dog friends. He's very gentle but will snap at other dogs who come near his food. He is good with other dogs once he's had time to sniff. It would be best if dogs in the home were non-reactive when they first meet him. Toby deserves an owner with a soft touch as his past one was not kind to him. He is not a fan of men and he will bark at them non-stop. He is working on crate training and will cry for bit when he first goes in, but quiets down nicely. Toby enjoys playing with toys and tug-o-war with other dogs is his absolute favorite. He is polite on a leash and listens well. Due to his crying and barking when initially crated, shared walls won't be a good match for him. Toby is shacking up in Englewood. His adoption fee is $400.
