Samantha is a beautiful, sweet, talkative and well-behaved, two-year-old, female green-eyed silver tabby cat looking for a loving guardian. Samantha was hit by a car on new year's eve and landed at Chicago Animal Care and Control with a broken pelvis. She came to Friends of Petraits Rescue where she has been resting and healing in a loving foster home. She had x-rays re-done today and she's definitely on the mend, but still needs three more weeks before she has her spay surgery. She uses her litter box like a good girl. She is relaxed and well-behaved in the home; not at all a hider. She does not seem to have an appreciation for other cats, at least at first. When found she had no tags or microchip, so she's looking for a new family that will keep her safely indoors. She is de-wormed, vaccinated for distemper and rabies, virus-tested negative and micro-chipped. She will be spayed in February when her healing is more complete. To meet and possibly adopt Samantha, please fill out an adoption application at https://friendsofpetraits.com/dog-cat-adoption-application/ After the application is complete, please contact [email protected] to schedule an appointment to meet her. Her adoption fee of $150 benefits the rescued pets of Friends of Petraits Rescue. She is currently being fostered in Chicago's Gold Coast neighborhood.
