Look at the striking face on our girl Jackie! This girl is what we call a 'longtimer' at the shelter, since she has been sleeping on the cold floor for over 2 months! Jackie's previous family bought her as a puppy and she lived with them for the first 15 months of her life. They state that she lived in the backyard with their other two dogs, but kept barking to come in. Since they couldn't get this puppy to like living outdoors only, she was dropped at the shelter. Gosh, we don't blame her! This girl wants to live inside a home, and now needs to find one by this weekend! Since she lived outside before, she came in not sure how to interact with people or the loud noises of the shelter. She has been timid, but is learning to walk well on a leash and what its like to play with toys! She has co-existed with other dogs, as she did before but she still isn't sure how to play and jump around with them. Jackie would do well with a calm, older dog that can teach her 'how to dog' properly without overwhelming her. Apply here today to talk to one of our volunteers about her notes and set up a time to have your family meet her! http://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/foster/BPAZ/Dog
