About Maggie

Maggie is one of the sweetest dogs you will ever meet...that's how she got her nickname 'Sweets!' She loves to lay around and have her ears rubbed. She even makes this cute sound that is her version of 'purring.' She has such a calm temperament, it's almost hard to believe a two year old dog can be so chill, but it's true!�%A0�%A0 Maggie is a 2 yr old Great Pyrenees mix. She is an incredibly�%A0kindhearted dog, kind of like a people person kind of dog! In the most gentle way, she will calmly make her way to every person to properly introduce herself hoping she may get a little love and maybe some extra ear rubs. That said,�%A0it's important she is an ONLY DOG, because she is very insecure around other dogs. She is learning to walk nicely on a leash and is being taught it's ok to pass by other dogs without being intimidated. LIke many toddlers, she is also learning her way is not always the right way and has her way of standing her ground so her opinions are noticed! This will need to be continued work with her new family. Maggie is SO SO SO sweet around children. She has experience with young boys with ADHD and has been so good calming the energy down in the house.�%A0She quickly becomes the best of buddies with them. She thinks of herself as one of them :)�%A0She is also great with cats. Maggie's ideal home would be a big yard or farm where she could�%A0run!! A PHYSICAL FENCE IS A MUST. She would love a house with children as well! Maggie is spayed and UTD on vaccines & preventatives. She's currently in a foster home in the Atlanta GA area. We do adopt out of state but adopters are required to travel to the foster home to pick up their dog. Her adoption fee is $200.
