About Nathan

Meet Nathan! He is an 8.2 pound Chihuahua pup who is estimated to be 10 weeks old. Nathan is a good boy, who has a bit of little dog syndrome. On a leash, or behind a fence, he is a tough guy! Turn him out in a fenced yard, and he's just a puppy who loves to play! He loves to do zoomies in the yard with all the other dogs, and a fenced in yard would be great for him to burn off puppy energy. When he's done playing, Nathan is so cuddly and he loves to snuggle on the couch. He loves to chew but is easily redirected to things he is allowed to chew on. He is a big fan of chew toys, rope toys, and squeaky toys! He loves to play tug of war and he is an attacker of mops! When you mop the floor he will be sure to defend you and rescue you from that chore! Nathan gets along with all of the pups in his foster home. He would probably be good with older children as long as they put their toys, shoes or anything away that they don't want to be chewed on. He likes to come to you when you sit down and call him, but he will run away if you run toward him. He is friendly and great with people and enjoys sitting on your lap and getting loved on. He has displayed some lap possessiveness with one of his foster brothers and we don't think a home with small children is in his best interest. He has not been tested with cats. Nathan currently sleeps in a tall playpen with a couple of his foster brothers. He is a puppy and displays typical puppy behaviors, and the puppy playpen keeps him safe from getting into things he shouldn't when he is not able to be supervised. He is learning to potty outside and is doing pretty well when taken out on a regular basis. Nathan has had two sets of his puppy shots, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration provided by the rescue. His third set of puppy shots, his rabies vaccine, and his neuter (as soon as he is old enough) will be scheduled at our vet and are also covered by the rescue. if you would like to bring this cutie home to complete your family please submit an adoption application for a review using the link below!
