About Joni Mitchel

Hi, my name is JONI MITCHEL - ID#A4498990. I am a spayed female, white and brown American Pit Bull Terrier mix. The shelter staff think I am about 3 years old, and I have been at the shelter since Nov 12, 2020. Joni Mitchel recently got to go on a special day foster adventure with her favorite staff member of their day off, and she had a blast! Here are some notes: 'I took her on day foster on Saturday, and she was awesome! She hopped in the car and just relaxed on the ride. We took her hiking, and she never barked or bothered with passing people ( we stayed clear of other dogs). She had never met my husband before and was happy to let him walk/pet her. She knows to sit and basic commands. I still think she has some vision issues, but she is such a goofy ball of fun once she relaxes and gets to know you. She was bouncing around our back yard playing with some toys. She passed out in the car on the way back to the shelter ���S' Joni Mitchel is around three years old, and weighs just shy of 50lbs. From being found as a stray to staying at the shelter, things have been a little extra frightening for this shy little lady because of her visual impairment. In addition to eyelid inflammation, she initially arrived at the shelter with skin problems that indicated possible infection to our vet team. After being treated with an antihistamine and an antibiotic, she showed a lot of improvement, although our vets still recommend she follow up with your family veterinarian to check for any underlying allergies that she may have. Because of her visual impairment combined with her timid nature, Joni Mitchel will need a home with no children.
