About Delilah

Delilah was rescued from a Kansas City shelter four years ago, to a loving mom. Sadly, her mom has since had some serious health issues that meant she had to move into assisted living and could not take care of this sweet dog. Delilah is now being fostered in St. Louis, Missouri and is doing very well. She is 10 years old, but do not let her age fool you! She is still an active dog that loves walks and especially loves her honking pig toy, but she loves food more than anything else in the world. Delilah is currently 65 lbs, but she is on a weight-loss journey and she has already lost almost 7 1/2#! Despite being overweight, the vet describes her as 'healthy as a horse' and she is spayed and up to date on all her shots. Delilah will need a home without cats, small children, or other dogs, but she loves her humans fiercely and even smiles at you when you get home.
