About schmoop

This is my baby, I don't want to get rid of her but I don't have options. She has escaped her fence and gotten out. She got ahold of a neighbors chihuahua, possibly sheep,killed a cat, that I had just gotten. The cat had to have gotten into her fence,the cat was in there when I got home. She has attacked other dogs, over the years.. i have lived with my brother for 4.5 months, before we had to move due to his finicial situation. He had 2 other dogs,, they withstood each other. I fostered a dog for a couple of weeks at my previous house. They didn't like him but he was there. I got her 5 years ago, she had been dropped off in a corn field, the lady already had 4 dogs that had been dropped off throughout the years. She told me that the other dogs were mean to her and wouldn't allow her to eat. I already had a dog, that was about a year older than schmoop. When I brought schmoop home to my other dog they were instantly friends. They love each other. Schmoop did become the alpha dog. We just moved to this house in the country in May and in the last year we had moved several times. My landlords don't feel safe, with her on the property from what she's done and they said she lunged at my landlady through the fence, I am assuming because she was holding their puppy? Schmoop loves people, whenever people come around she'll jump on them from excitement and want them to pet her. She has short hair, so she gets cold and doesn't like being outside. She likes to lay and sleep on the couch. Onetime when I was sick to my stomach in the other room she came in there and checked on me. When I've been upset, she will come and make sure 8 pet her until I feel better. I set my dogs food bowls at a distance, so that schmoop doesn't eat her sister dogs food. I can't free feed her because she'll eat until she's sick. I try to desensitize her while she's eating by petting different areas of her body, in case someone ever came up to her while she ears she wouldn't growl or attack. She likes to go walk, but you have to watch for other animals around. Im in California but my best friend lives near Douglas County and the rescues are all full here.
