About Kalista

Kalista is a 4yr old Poodle/Terrier mix looking for her forever home. She weighs in around 15lbs and is low shed. Kalista came to us from the county shelter after being found as a stray. This poor girl was matted, impacted, and her poor bum was raw. She was so scared, and was lashing out in fear. After coming to us, we learned that Kalista is the sweetest girl that just needs a bit of patience and love to warm up. She loves children, is good with women, and is good with other dogs. Kalista likes to sleep with her person/people, loves to play, and loves to cuddle on the couch. She likes to give kisses and loves treats/food! Kalista would do best in a home with a yard, where her people are home more then not, and would love kids to play with. She is housebroken and is well behaved. If you are looking for a cuddle buddy, Kalista is your girl! Everyone living in the home and any current dogs in the home must meet Kalista to ensure it is a good fit. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, vet checked, and licensed. Her adoption fee is $350 and comes with a complimentary vet visit. To potentially adopt her come to our shelter location at 1102 W Hatcher Road in Phoenix 85021, open Tuesday to Sunday 11am to 6pm. --Covid update: To adhere to CDC guidelines, we are open for adoptions only at a max capacity of 10 people in the building at a time.
