About Buster

We rescued Buster last September when he was 5 months old. He had a very difficult start but is sweet and we thought we could get him past his fear and anxiety. We have small children in our home and another rescue dog. Our household has proven to be too busy for Buster's anxiety. We are currently working with a private trainer and he has made big improvement with this. But, due to him having anxiety issues that have resulted in him nipping/biting we have decided to rehome him. The rescue we got him from doesn't have any available home for him currently. The rescue, our vet and our trainer all feel he could be successful in a home with no children and likely no dogs. We do feel he may do well in a home without another dominant dog but not certain on this. Our other rescue and Buster have had issues with dominance with each other. Buster is very sweet and very smart. He is affectionate and loving. We will continue to work on his behaviors until we have a safe option for him.
