About Winnie

Update1-18-21***Today Winnie has her vet check. She is just over 4 pounds and has not had the care she should have had from the start. This sweet little baby unfortunately tested positive for heartworm:(. We will be starting her treatments this next Friday and then a week out she will go in for her next 2 treatments where she will stay with our vet so they can monitor her. This poor little girl has nothing but love to give. Once she is good and healthy we will then choose a home for her.So at this time Winnie will be staying with us until she is healthy and ready for her new home....Winnie will have an adoption fee that will help cover the expense of her vetting. At this time we are unsure what that will be. Once we know we will post it. Meet Winnie...... Winnie is a sweet little teacup Yorkiepoo. She is around 4 pounds and cute as ever!!! She is the one one the right side in the picture. She also came from a hoarding situation along with Lilly. Winnie had a few coat issues where she had thin spots which were possibly from lack of care. Both of these little ones are so very sweet even after the hard life they have lived. Winnie will be going to see our vet this next week. At that time she unfortunately will not be spayed. Our vet is currently booked for spays so we are on call for any cancelations they may get. If Winnie is adopted before her spay she will go home on a 30 day spay contract, which means her adopter will have 30 days to have her spayed. We are looking for a home for Winnie that has older children or no children. Other pets MUST be friendly with very small animals. She can not go to a home with large dogs who like to rough house. She is very small and would not be able to handle being stepped one. If you are interested in her adoption please text or email us to request an application.....*******For those inquiring about Winnie being house trained...she is currently using puppy pads, and being taken outside to go potty. She does not have free run of a home as she is not house trained. Coming from the situation she was in we can not expect her to know this. She will need some training still. We ask that you text or email us to ask about them, we are being overwhelmed with calls. We are not taking calls on them at this time as they will not see our vet until next week.
