About Canelo Mellow

Canelo Mellow is a handsome 6 year old Chihuahua mix who is looking for a loving forever home. Canelo Mellow is shy, but sweet once he warms up to his people. He was rescued from the county shelter, so we know a limited amount about his past and behaviors. We do know he has spent much of his life outdoor, so he is ready to live the pampered life of a pup who is part of the family. He is good with other small dogs in the shelter and happy to meet a canine companion. Canelo will need to be watched carefully near doors as he can be quick underfoot. He needs a home with a securely fenced in yard, no apartments. He is looking for a mature, kid-free home. Canelo is likely to need house training. He will need some patience while adjusting, but will make a loving a loyal companion to his lucky family. Canelo Mellow weighs 9 pounds full grown. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and vet checked. His adoption fee is $220 and comes with a complimentary vet exam.
