About MR BIG

WILL YOU BE THE LUCKY ONE TO ADOPT HIM) 'MR BIG' Orange County Area, So Cal Mr. Big is an 11-year-old, 16lbs, neutered male Shih-Tzu mix. This sweet and social senior has had a rough 5 years. He was the pride and joy of his elderly owner until she passed away five years ago. He was then given a loving home by the original owner's daughter up until her unexpected passing in November. Unfortunately, the local humane society has informed her widower that he is over the city ordinance for dog ownership and must rehome Mr. Big. He has other senior dogs in the home and felt that Mr. Big would have the best chance to get adopted into a loving home. He is heartbroken over the loss of his wife and his pack. Mr. Big's owner was a homemaker that provided a lot of attention and affection to him. He loves other dogs and cats - he warms up quickly and loves nothing more than cuddling in bed with his person. He enjoys walks and playing with the other dogs in the home (large and small). He is content to watch tv, nap and snuggle. Mr. Big has not lived with young children but loves to have the grandkids come over to visit and play. Mr. Big is currently using Tobramycin (anti-bacterial) eye drops to help his eyes feel better and stay hydrated. Mr. Big loves his food and is not a picky eater. He would make a wonderful companion to anyone willing to give a senior a chance for love. His owner became ill and passed in a relatively short amount of time, so he will need a family that understands his temporary grief.
