Hello my name is Holly Please read my story because Ivy and I really need a miracle right now. Ivy and I was pulled from Caswell County Animal Shelter just over a week ago. Our owner dumped us at the shelter and said he had too many dogs .The shelter immediately reached out to our rescue because we needed out of the shelter since we were owner surrenders. The shelter was full and our lives was at risk. I am 3 years old and HW negative but Ivy is 5 years old and HW positive. My rescue said they could not pull one and not both of us so here we are. We have both been seen by the vet and and I'm in good health. Ivy developed a cough shortly after help came for us and we found out she has nasty heart worms! She is heart worm positive and we need to get her started on fast kill treatment ASAP. We must be fostered/adopted together because I looks to Ivy for guidance and reassurance since she I am a little timid and shy. We know we are asking a lot for someone to take on fostering or fostering to adopt both of us while Ivy is doing treatment but we know someone out there can help us. We are located in boarding now and Ivy needs a home to rest and recouperate in that isn't stressful. She needs to remain calm during and after treatment and me be by her side and with her. Ivy has been started on doxycycline and will need to get her shots in 30 days so the clock is ticking for us. Please share in hopes to find us a foster home. Our rescue pays all vet bills and will pay for food etc if needed. We just need help so Ivy has the best chance of recovery. Please help us we are good girls and promise to be on our best behavior.
