About Marie Markle

Welcome Marie Markle to CCPAL Rescue. She has a big blocky head and we think she may be an American Bull dog with a Heeler is our best guess. She is really sweet. She is a nice young dog that we pulled from the local Animal Control. Many of these spots in Texas are kill facilities and when they fill up they have to euthanize. We pulled her before that happened. She is an active girl and will do best with an outdoorsy family. She would make a great running, hiking or walking companion. She pulls when she sees something interesting while on leash but she is attentive and wants direction. She is good with other dogs but she is a bit much from some dogs because of her enthusiasm. She is social and will be fine as an only dog. If you have a fenced yard then some of her exercise could be met playing in the yard. She hasn't had any formal training so she has skills of a younger dog. Someone willing to teach her the ropes would be great. She is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to deliver her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 250 and transport is 185.
