About Piper

Meet Piper, she's estimated to be about 3 yrs old and an Australian Cattle Dog. This energetic girl is in search of her forever home, that will keep her active, both physically and mentally. Piper is very sweet, but bonds with her person very quickly, therefore, becoming very protective of them. She NEEDS an owner with experience of the breed. She's been in and out of shelters/rescues for most of her life, and has never had much of a stable environment beforehand. She DOES NOT like small dogs or cats. She is fine with some dogs her size, but it really depends on the individual dog. Therefore, we feel she needs a home without other pets. Because she's a working breed and tends to be protective, she NEEDS a home without young children also. With the right family/person, she will be an amazing dog, but needs people who are willing to dedicate the time and energy to continue to work with her. She weighs about 55 pounds. Piper is house/crate trained. She's spayed, UTD on vaccinations, and microchipped. Overall, Piper is a very happy and healthy dog. We know she'll make someone an amazing companion!
