About Junior

The best boy, Junior, is looking for his forever family! This handsome fella is just as good as it gets! He loves baths, walks, belly rubs & snuggles! He gets along great with men, women, and adores the children in his current foster home. His favorite thing is watching his foster mom cook in the kitchen - free smells! His favorite snacks are bacon, chicken, and beef crumbles. He just loves the smell of food and looks forward to every meal with hops and jumps! He takes food gently and knows to sit politely if he wants a treat. He is a fast learner and is working hard every day on his basic training! He is highly motivated by treats and is even working with a clicker for training. Although he wasn't used to having doggy manners in a home, he is really picking it up quickly and understands boundaries! He needs a little more guidance on potty training - but this good boy is making progress every day. He can sleep through the night without an accident. He loves napping near his people, but Junior would love an active family that has a yard or that can take him on LOTS of walks and adventure. He deserves it! He loves walks and wants to meet people and dogs along the way. Junior gets along great with his foster dog sibling but is not really into playing a whole lot with them. He could happily coexist in a home with another similar dog or as an only child. It is unknown how he would be with cats in a home, but did not react negatively when he saw them at the pet store - just curious! Junior would be fine in a home with children - he loves them! But he still has a lot of puppy-like energy and is still learning not to jump, so older children with a deep understanding of dog behavior are preferred. Junior would make an excellent family addition to a home that will spoil him for the rest of his days! - My adoption fee is $200 and covers my neuter, age-appropriate shots, microchip, & dewormer. Adoption fees are non-negotiable. - Adoptions are NOT on a first-come, first-serve basis! Do Over Dogs will match adoptable dogs with the best possible home from approved applications.
