About Lola

Lola is a three year old, female Blue Healer/Catahoula mix with a gorgeous speckled coat. She is a large family-friendly dog that would be perfect for anyone that enjoys an active lifestyle. Outgoing and affectionate, Lola loves having fun and needs plenty of exercise. Lola would not be happy if left alone in a crate all day. She is very bright and needs activity to keep her mind busy. If you are looking for a running or hiking partner, this is your dog. Lola is a pretty good ball player too! She has a blast playing tag outside with several other dogs here at the shelter. Another dog in the home would be a welcome playmate and help to keep her entertained. Of course, you can always consider adopting one of her play group pals. Cats would not be a good fit as Lola has strong herding instincts. Lola has lived in a home before and been around children. She seems to be housebroken and will need a fenced in yard to keep her from wandering. This sweet girl is well mannered and very easy to train.
