About Dexter

Dexter is ready for an adopter. He's currently in a foster home, enjoying life. Dex is a good boy who needs a household with a strong lead. He's still a puppy, and needs a foster who will help teach him his manners! 'As I watched him race around after toys with wild abandon, I finally saw how truly sweet his face is. His mouth is always open in a happy grin,' noted a volunteer who knew Dexter in the pound... Seeming much more like a puppy than a four year old dog, Dexter would be a good and loyal companion to an active male who could keep pace with him and provide the guidance he needs... Or, as another volunteer who championed his cause in the pound concluded, '[Dexter] is for someone special. Someone that will revel in his untamed exuberance as much as he does. Someone who will love him for his wild and mischievous approach to life. Someone we hope is out there and reading this now....'
