About Ellie (Eleanor)

We are looking for a home for Ellie (Eleanor). She needs a loving home ASAP. Ellie turned 9 years old on July 4th. She is a mix but the vet said she believes she has lab in her, but other than that, we are unsure. We rescued her when she was just a baby. She is spayed and has been to the banfield vet at pet smart locally. Ellie does best as an only pet. She does not get along well with other dogs as she prefers ALL of you cuddles and attention to herself. She is fine around cats but she does play a bit rough with them. She is good with kids as long as they are respectful and do not agitate her. She loves playing tug of war with her babies (stuffed animals). She is afraid of storms and will want to be right beside you. Ellie would love to be your best friend. She is happy laying on your lap cuddling, sleeping next to you in bed, going for rides in the car, really anything that allows her to be by your side. She is an inside dog only. She is house trained and goes out on a leash for long enough to do her business then wants right back in to the warmth. She is a good watch dog, if someone is at your door or hears an unusual noise she will bark to warn you. She loves her food and treats! This breaks our heart to rehome her. She really has been a wonderful part of our family for the last 9 years.. We really would love to find a loving home for our girl. Someone who has time to give her, love to share, and scratches, lots of scratches. Asking for rehoming fee to go to rescueme.
