About Sandy

Sandy is a sweet Lab mix, just over 7 months old and very much a large lovable puppy. She is a big love bug who loves her people (and wants to be with them) when she isn't playing with other animals (dogs and cats) and clomping around in the yard. She is currently in a 6 foot fenced yard which is required for her adoption. Sandy is super loyal and wants to be your best friend which she shows you by following you everywhere and being your shadow/second set of observant eyes sometimes wanting to go through doors or gates when you are trying to go through them. Sandy is potty trained, about 30 lbs right now and growing and will most likely grow to be as big as a Labrador. Sandy will is an amazing companion as long as she has a family that loves outdoor adventures such as hiking or long walks, but also appreciates a good nap in a snuggle pile. Sandy is good on walks except for when she wants to go a different direction toward something new and exciting but a bit of training and bonding will make her follow you the entire walk. We don't know how Sandy is with kids but she is not aggressive in any way.
