About Sirius

Sirius is a big, beautiful boy that is having a difficult time in the shelter environment. He is unsure with the different people and afraid of his collar and leash to get him out of the kennel. But once he is leashed, he walks very well. He enjoys going to the play yard and he did well when introduced to other dogs in the yard. Sirius eventually warmed up to the staff and allowed petting and liked the treats they gave to him (Although he took the treats a little roughly). We think that Sirius has never been an inside dog and is simply scared of being put on a leash forever again. We are looking for a foster who can help him learn what it is like to live inside and get treats regularly!
