About Starsky&Hutch

Prior to being rescued, Starsky and Hutch were hanging out at a local junkyard. Their rescuer convinced them they both deserved a better life and brought them to our shelter. These two Chihuahua mixes are best pals and very bonded. We are looking to find these boys just the right home to share. They both need a little time to get to know you. Once you gain their trust, however, they are both affectionate and loving. Starsky is the larger of the two and weighs eleven pounds. Just five and half pounds, Hutch may be much smaller but don't let that fool you! He's definitely the boss and quite spunky and clever. Hutch is estimated to be one year old and his sidekick Starsky is two. Both would make wonderful companions for a senior or a family with older children. Like most Chihuahuas, they can be selective when making friends with other dogs. If own a dog currently, we would be happy to schedule a meet and greet to check compatibility. Starsky and Hutch would be perfectly content as the only dogs in the home. They have not been around cats as far as we know; but that can be tested as well. Starsky and Hutch seem to be housebroken and do prefer going on grass. A fenced in yard is a must for these inquisitive pups.
