TO BE KILLED - JAN. 11, 2021 Post going out with a prayer ACCUSED OF THE GRAVEST OF CRIMES, big boy Kobe seems to be unaware of what happened. His owner did not give any details of what happened and asked the ACC to forcibly take him into their custody. Kobe was darted, taken from his home and sedated for examination. The ACC is also vague about his demeanor, only saying his threshold for arousal is low, meaning he is very excitable, that the ACC staff was able to distract him. All through his profile, they never said he growled, but they are careful also and don't want to say that he's friendly. Kobe's ear infection is so bad that his ear canals have thickened already. A dog just doesn't bite his owner for no reason. It's against thousands of years of conditioning. It happens but usually there's a good reason for it, perhaps the dog was hurt accidentally by his owner, or the dog was guarding his things, or babies even. How long did his owner have him? These details would shed light on why Kobe did it. The important fact to note here is that he hasn't shown any aggression towards the shelter staff. Kobe doesn't like his kind so it's best for him to be the only dog. Please help Kobe make it out alive, his chances are not good. Please advocate for Kobe, and tell us what you think.
