KOBE is at the shelter for an incident that transpired between himself and his owner, but where the owner refused to elaborate on what actually happened. And why? We see a dog that is 6 years old, who must have done SOMETHING right to have spent all that time with his owner, only to then be kicked to the curb for one moment of transgression. It always makes us suspicious when an owner won't share the 'whole' story, because it oftentimes means they are hiding something. Did they hurt him? Kick him? Was it their fault? We may never know. But what we do know is that this poor boy is wondering what he ever did to deserve this, and if he will ever find love again. Kobe waits. He waits for love, patience, kindness, and a second chance at happiness. Will you be his hero? Kobe was brought in by the police following a bite incident with the owner. Kobe's owner declined to provide full details of what actually occurred. At the shelter, Kobe has exhibited a low threshold for arousal and is very strong/pulls on leash. Kobe has thickened ear canals, suggesting a lifetime of chronic, painful ear infections. To foster, you have to be within prescribed range of NYC ACC - In the general NE US area; NY, NJ, CT, PA, DC, MD, DE, NH, RI, MA, VT & ME (some rescues will transport to VA).
