About Jasper

Meet Jasper! Let's be honest, this soft and cuddly land seal isn't exactly lacking in the looks department - he is gorgeous! Jasper is a giant love bug who is exceptionally affectionate, and even a bit needy. His perfect family is one who would appreciate this and have lots of time to spend with him. As a young dog, Jasper is curious, playful, and exuberant, with a little energy to burn. An active family who has a fenced-in yard and wants an exercise partner would also be perfect for this stunner. Jasper is an AMAZING pup, who is energetic, fun, friendly, and incredibly smart! He needs someone who is equally amazing and committed to shaping him into the best version of himself. Jasper is a diamond in the rough, but full of potential and the right forever family will be lucky to polish him up. He is young and exuberant, but also incredibly sweet and so excited about EVERYTHING, including training! Like most adolescents, Jasper would thrive in a family who was enthusiastic about continuing to work with him, allowing him to settle into a home, and giving him time to mature a little. He will, in turn, pay them back with love, loyalty, and lots of kisses. Jasper was in the shelter for several months. Some dogs are able to handle that stress, but others, like Jasper, struggle fiercely with the environment. The result? He needs time and consistency to decompress and start to feel safe and secure once again. His perfect family would be committed to helping him be successful, which means give him the time and space he needs to be comfortable in new situations and not putting him in situations he's not ready for. Jasper has a good history of living with a cat, but he may be too excited now based on how stressed he got while in the shelter. He also has a good history playing with dogs, but might be a challenge to manage his training and integrating with another dog currently until he is on more stable ground, so he should be the only dog in the home. But don't worry�'�|receiving all of his love and attention is a full time job. Due to his size and lack of manners currently, older or no kids would be best for this loveable pup.
