Nelson! Nelson is a sweet guy that had a rough start. Nelson found himself with a very mangled leg facing certain death in a high kill shelter. Let's be real, black pit bulls don't often make it out of a shelter even when they're physically sound. Luckily, our medical foster had an opening so off to Colorado he came! Nelson had an FHO to address the fracture in his femur. Since his surgery, he's been able to run and play and act like the puppy he's always wanted to be! Nelson loves to play with his foster siblings and will be best matched in a home with a female canine companion. He's great with humans and would thrive in a variety of environments. Nelson is in foster in Denver. He's approx 1 year old and is around 50 lbs. REQUIREMENTS: *No Apartments *Resident dog(s), if any, should be playful females *No Breed ban areas.
