About Titan

Please note we are a TX based rescue that transports our dogs once they have been adopted. All of our dogs reside in foster homes in TX. Our next PNW run is on 1.20.20 My most awesome name actually has three totally different but equally awesome meanings; 1 In Greek mythology, the Titans were the pre-Olympian gods. 2. Titan is the largest moon of Saturn 3 .The Tennessee Titans are a professional American football team based in Nashville, Tennessee. The Titans compete in the National Football League YAY! YAY! and YAY! Whichever interpretation you select, I come out a winner!!! Winner, winner, chicken dinner...oh, yeah!! Hmmmmm...now, that makes me think about eating a chicken dinner...YUMMYY!! But, I digress...more about me!! I am a gorgeous, 10-12 month old, little boy, German Shepard mix pupper. Foster Mum calls me a 'Goof ball' and a 'Good Dog'. True to my German Shepard hairytage, I am a quick study and catch on right away. Did you know that studies show that the GS can learn a simple task after only 5 repetitions? I proved this when I learned 'Sit'. Now, anytime I am uncertain when we are out walking, I sit and look to Foster Mum for assurance and then I get up and go on. Foster Mum always seems so excited when I do my 'Sit' routine. Also in keeping with the GS hairytage, I have a very straight forward personality...what you see is what you get!! And always, the GS temperament includes loyalty and obedience; I am loyal to a fault. Because of this loyalty, I do suffer from separation anxiety and can become destructive (dog beds go bye bye) if Foster Mum leaves me crated or in an outside kennel. I am fine as long as I can see Foster Mum, but bark and cry if she leaves me alone. However, in the yard with the other doggies, I have companionship and do fine without my hooman by my side. I get on well with all of the other doggies in my play yard, know how to walk on leash, go into my crate at night for dinnertime, and am house broken .I am quite playful with the other puppers and we enjoy fun games of wrastlin' and chase. My favorite game is fetch!! I will play fetch for as long as Foster Mum will throw the toy. I am a natural athlete and would absolutely love participating in agility and/or obedience training. I would also make a great jogging, action/adventure companion. I will do best with a yard and space to stretch my legs (not really a suitable apartment dog). I am a dog that will thrive on hooman interaction. I am a work in progress, but am extremely intelligent and have unlimited potential. I need my hooman (hoomans) to gently guide me to help me become my best self! Could that Hooman be you?
