About Zuko

Adoption Fee: $350.00
Pit Bull
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Owner needs to rehome both her dogs due to recently giving birth to twins. Zuko lived with another dog Oakley who is also posted, yet they wud need to be adopted separately. Zuko born 12/02/18. He's an American Pitbull Terrier. Weighs in at 60 lbs. UTD on all vaccines. He also takes Flea/Tick and Heart-worm meds every month. He usually gives a hard time with the Flea/Tick medication, but if you cut it into small pieces, he thinks it's a treat and will eat it. He loves to take car rides, playing outside, playing fetch, snuggling, sleeping on the couch, alone time in his crate (his choice) and having his hiney and inner back thighs scratched. He'll even lift his leg to help you get to the spot. He loves ice cubes, frozen carrots, peanut butter and cheese. He doesn't like beef flavored treats or having his nails cut. He does well in the shower, but not when you put the water right in his face. He knows commands like sit, stay, wait, come, no, home (for my crate), out, paw, food and are you hungry?. He will tell you when it's time to go out and when he wants back in. He loves to be the center of attention. He will also check to make sure you are close by, when he can't see you. Owner is heartbroken to have to give up Zuko but sadly after having her babies the dogs have reacted when they cry and on 3 occasions got into it. Serious inquiries only. Must live in Long Island. A Fence in yard is a MUST. There is an application and a re-homing fee. Pls contact us if you have any questions.
