PETEY - ID #A1609029 Riverside Shelter, Riverside, So Cal https://petharbor.com/pet.asp?uaid=RVSD.A1609031 Two adorable and very similar looking chow mix boys were found as strays in neglected condition and brought to the Riverside shelter. They are recommended for placement separately at this time. We have named the older one Henry who is said to be 8 years old, and weighs 48 lbs, and the younger one Petey and is said to be 4 years old and only 35 lbs. They look like a mini chow golden retriever, but it is unclear what their breeds really are, could also be mixed with spaniel. Sadly, Henry came in with wounds all around his mouth and an embedded collar that had cut into his neck. It was reported by someone that these dogs were said to fight with one another, perhaps over food or scarcity, it is unclear. Henry's wounds were infected, the embedded collar has since been removed, but it gives one some indication of the home these poor boys must have lived in. They will come available on 1/9 and will likely both be in danger and urgent. We are looking for adopters, fosters and or rescues for each dog.
