About Missy

Missy is a 1 year old Lab/Pit mix. This sweet girl lost her daddy in his sleep, the folks at the RV park called to see if we could take her. They reported that her dad used to take her to the dog park daily, she slept inside with him on his bed. He spoiled her rotten. I knew she would enjoy coming to the property to run on 8 acres with a bunch of other dog friends. Missy is house broken, she loves other dogs, she loves to play fetch and chase. She doesn't like being in a crate, although she has managed now to at least tolerate it for slumber. (Everybody who comes here gets crate trained even if they've never been in one. She would much rather prefer her new people/person's bed. She knows most basic obedience sit/stay/down/off/drop-it/leave if. She's a very good girl and a very smart puppy. She's about 65-70 pounds currently. She's athletic, she would benefit from having other active dogs in the home, or an active family who can get her enough exercise. She's a young, healthy vibrant pup. She's spayed/vaccinated/rabies and microchipped. As with any rescue dog, time and patience to help them learn the new rules/boundaries and set them up for success is imperative.
