About Tasha

This is Tasha. She's a ~70lb Siberian Husky. She is spayed, chipped and healthy, but behind on her shots. We've done much playing and traveling together since 2012 but with jobs and children and the passing of our German Shepherd, her quality of life -admittedly, isn't what it used to be. It is time for us to let her go to someone who will be able to offer her the affection (and exercise) that she needs and deserves. She's great with kids, cats and other canine family members, but she does tend to be very defensive on the lead and her energy level and propensity for dominance in the dog park has been problematic for us in the past. She is house broken, reasonably obedient and highly affectionate, but when she's bored her favorite activities are howling, digging and testing for weak spots in the fence. Our dream would be someone who is familiar with the intense nature of the breed and, and has other dogs who can keep her busy during the work day while she waits for her people to come home.
