Courtesy Posting: FOSTER/RESCUE/PLEDGES NEEDED FOR RESCUE ONLY HANDSOME 'JEFFERSON' SPITZ BREED - LOOKS LIKE MINI JINDO/HUSKY/AKITA/CHOW W/ SHEP JEFFERSON - ID #A1955126 South LA Shelter, Los Angeles, So Cal https://petharbor.com/pet.asp?uaid=LACT3.A1955126 We are looking for a foster or foster to adopt for adorable Jefferson came into the South LA shelter after being found on the streets of LA. LA City does not list breeds but he resembles several spitz breeds such as a mini jindo, husky, akita, chow, along with some shepherd. He is only 52 lbs though, and thought to be about 8 years young. He has now been made Rescue only due to an unfortunate situation. After being adopted, he accidentally got out, and the person suddenly grabbed him by the collar to abruptly stop him. Jefferson was known to have sensitivity around his neck already, and therefore nipped his hand. However, this person has stated Jefferson was very affectionate, and that this shouldn't have happened. He returned him however because he was also too interested in their kitty. So, please help us find a foster and rescue before he is killed. He has not been tested with other dogs, so this is unknown at this time. We have videos we can share with interested parties. Please contact [email protected] or Southern California Chow Chow Rescue Network who is trying to help save his life.
