About Lulu

I am looking for someone that will please take in my Beagle Baby, Lulu (a.k.a. Sweet Little Lulu the Lover). I love Lulu dearly and my heart is breaking for her because she is by herself most of the day. I would love for Lulu to be in the house with my husband and me, but one of our other dogs has chosen to strongly dislike her and it won't work. We have had Lulu for over 4 years and for more than half of that time Lulu has been mostly isolated. I try to give her some time each day, but how much time will vary and I know it's never enough. To make it worse, the only space that we have for Lulu is the garage and she more than deserves to live inside her home among her human(s). Lulu is an incredibly sweet and loving dog that absolutely enjoys being with her human(s), relaxing on human or dog furniture, getting love, and giving lots of kisses. She is also my 'big bad protector' as she barks at passing vehicles and runs along the fence to chase them away if they pass by too slowly for her liking. Lulu is at least part Beagle, but I cannot say for certain what, if any, other breed may be present in her. She is 16' tall from her front paws to the top of her back, weighed 49.2 pounds as of August 2020, is house broken, is spayed, and is current on her Rabies shot. We have never seen her around children, although I do not believe she would give them any trouble, and we have never seen her around any cats. I think that Lulu could bring a smile to any dog lover's face and that she would be a great companion for anyone. If you are willing to welcome Lulu into your arms, please know that Lulu does have an unknown past where she was most likely mistreated as a puppy/young dog and she will be nervous and/or fearful around new people. She seems to warm up to women sooner than men, but I'm positive that anyone that shows her love and kindness will earn her trust. Also, due to her unknown past, it would be best for her to be the only dog. All in all, Lulu is a sweetheart that is just like any other dog in her desire for love and attention. Please note: if she is not fully surrounded by a fence and closed gate when outside, she needs to be supervised as she is like many other dogs in her desire to check out places outside of her own yard.
