About 20 chows need homes

Courtesy Posting: 20+ CHOWS AS WELL AS SEVERAL MIXES NEEDING RESCUE, CHOW SAVVY HOMES AND FOSTERS- CHOW EXPERIENCE NEEDED FOR MOST/PLEDGES ALSO NEEDED FOR RESCUES Multiple locations listed We have a very urgent situation where a so called breeder of chows has abandoned many dogs in a remote area in the midwest. We are now working with a rescue group in Colorado - who specializes in puppy mill cases like this- and they are asking for our assistance to place these dogs with either reputable chow savvy rescues, and with adopters who can come in person to adopt if they are chow savvy and qualified. After several trips, 27 dogs total were rescued in total. Of those, 19 dogs still need placement: 15 chows and 4 chow huskies. We are also looking for chow savvy foster or permanent homes to refer to and pair with rescues on the West coast, South and Midwest who would like to help these dogs. Chow experience is a must for the purebreds, and likely many of the mixes. These dogs also need pledged donations and sponsors for each rescue. There will be over 20 chows needing rescues and homes, most are purebred or purebred looking, and a few are mixes of chow and husky. These dogs range in age from mostly young adults to a few who are young seniors. Please note these dogs CANNOT be transported to individuals unless they are backed by an approved rescue though (you must be paired with a rescue). We have additional info we can share about individual dogs for qualified rescues, fosters and adopters.
