'Hiya! My name is Lester and I'm a 5-ish month old Smooth Collie/mix that came to SVASC when my previous owner no longer wanted me. Now I'm hoping to find a loving furever home that will be able to keep up with my crazy puppy antics. What do you think? So are you looking for the most handsome and energetic pup that there ever was? Well, maybe I'm not that hyper, but I do have lots of go in me. I am a high energy pup and am looking for a high energy family that can keep up with me. Since I am believed to be a herding breed, I am hoping to find a family with some breed or breed type experience. I'm smart as a whip, so I think that I would excel in a doggy sport. I would really thrive in a home with an active family that enjoys being out and about. While not an adoption requirement, SVASC feels that I would develop best in a home with a fenced yard. I am good with other dogs, but can be quite a rough player, so please keep that in mind when bringing me home. I love to romp and run and would likely be a wonderful candidate for someone that is looking for a very social dog. I am also okay with kids, but am already a big boy and am still learning my manners. Because of this, I am looking for a home without very young kiddos. Please remember that puppies are a lifetime commitment. I will require training and socialization as I get older to ensure that I grow up to be the best dog that I can be. Breed and weight estimates are just a guess and so SVASC cannot guarantee the size of adopted dogs. I am expected to be a large dog when fully grown. My adoption fee is $125 to an approved adopter.
