About Toffee

Are you looking for a dog who's sweet as sugar? Look no further than Toffee, a 6-year old medium sized lab and boxer mix located in the greater Boston area. She is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, and available for adoption in Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New Hampshire! Toffee is the perfect balance between a mellow and energetic nature. She's simply hoping for a family who will take her outside, feed her lots of treats, and let her love on them! Toffee loves to spend time outside, either running, playing, and hunting squirrels during the day or hanging out with her people in the evening. When it comes to playtime, she loves many different activities, from playing tug of war to chasing balls to chewing stuffed animals. After a long day of play, Toffee enjoys cuddling on the sofa with her people. She is very attached to her humans, and is the queen of giving sad eyes when they leave the house! True to her lab nature, the one thing Toffee loves as much as people and playtime is FOOD! Her favorite treats include carrots and broccoli, and she likes to wander around the kitchen or watch from her dog bed while meals are being fixed. Toffee is also a smart girl who will sit politely and shake paws for treats. Her food motivation could come in handy, as she can be mischievous and needs to be trained not to rip up the mail and bark at passing dogs and the vacuum cleaner. A sweet dog like Toffee deserves a special home. Her home MUST be pet free, as she has previously picked fights with neighborhood dogs! Toffee also needs an adult-only family. Additionally, she would love to have a fenced yard with plenty of space to run and explore! Toffee has many favorite things, but the most important one is human love. As a medium-energy, affectionate dog, she would be a great fit for many different families.
