'%BC%8FTYSON IS TIMESTAMPED FOR 1/5 at 5:30PM because he gets overly aroused in the shelter! He must leave with a rescue partner. He is %90 DOG FRIENDLY %90 (videos are below in this post)'%BC%8F Tyson urgently needs to leave because he has presented with extreme over arousal in care that is becoming more challenging to manage. Tyson would be best served by exiting the shelter environment. Based on the behaviors Tyson is displaying, any rescue partner willing to pull will need to be well versed in behavior management and modification. He is at ACCT PHILLY! His volunteer friends adore him, so if you can help, please email [email protected] 'ۢ 'ۢ Here are his ACCT details: Intake Reason: Stray Sex: Male Age: 3 years Videos: Bud and Tyson: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AsGlXf-eBZo Theo and Tyson: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hRmYCpv4inM Medical: Behavior: 12/28 (Per Staff)-- Female handler approached kennel, Tyson came to the front of kennel, loose and wiggle. Easy to leashed and removed from kennel. Walks slowly on leash, sniffs ground a lot, did not show much interest in handler. Sniffed leg once but was easily redirected. Brought Tyson into a run. Female handler engaged with Tyson, and he immediately jumped up on handler and started to hump. Allowed handling and was easily redirected. After some time in the run, Tyson started to hump more persistently. Was able to push Tyson off, but this stopped working after some time and other handler had to step on Tyson's leash. Tyson showed no interest in the other handler (male).Fixated on the female handler, but did not get over aroused. Remained calm and was easily distracted. Attempted to walk Tyson back to kennel, but continuously tried to hump. Male handler took the leash and was able to walk him back inside without Tyson trying to hump at all. 12/14 (Per Staff)--Tyson was easy to leash getting out of the kennel but was very high energy and jumped up and pulled on the leash once out of the kennel. Once outside, Tyson began exploring the pen and sniffed all three of us. Tyson repeatedly returned to sniff me before starting to hump my leg. I was able to remove him and he would sniff the pen momentarily before returning to me and starting to hump again. At that point I asked if the leads would be comfortable in the run alone with him as I didn't think we would get an accurate read on his personality while he was distracted by me. I left the pen and Tyson continued to stand by the gate and look for me while I was in view. Once I moved from view he started exploring the pen again and interacting with the volunteers. After only a few minutes, Tyson began humping one of the volunteers and we decided it was time to stop the interaction/evaluation and return him to his kennel. Tyson repeatedly tried to hump me on the walk back inside but I was able to keep him off by holding his leash away from my body. Tyson was easily returned to kennel.
