Please go to www.wowdogrescue.org for any updates. ??Dash is a springy, bouncing ball of energy! We believe him to be around 1-1.5 yrs old, and a blend of Cairn Terrier/ yorkie and maybe chihuahua?? He weighs in around 8lbs. ? He gets along with other dogs but is a bit timid when first meeting them. He is now a buddy to his foster dog brother (see photos). Not sure if he would be a good match for toddlers because he is timid, but older ones and all adults (male or female is fine). Dash dances and prances around when it's meal or treat time, (His favorite time of day) He eats fast (like he's never eaten before) and will go hunting for other food bowls if he's not watched. He does ok on a leash but really needs basic training to gain more confidence and self esteem. Dash is mouthy and likes to chew on toys but doesn't really know the difference between a dog toy and a pillow yet. (Must be the puppy in him yet) He'll need to be monitored often until he's settled in. ?Dash continues to struggle with learning the doggie door, but he's potty trained unless it's too cold outside, ..then he will have accidents. ?He seems to like being brushed (which is a good thing!) as he has medium length hair in areas, and his coat can get easily tangled so a daily brush is best. He is not fond of car rides unless he's sitting in your lap. So recommend transporting in a crate or using a seatbelt. ?If you are home, he is your little shadow and prefers to be lounging or right by your feet. He is scheduled to be neutered, and get all his shots and microchip done on Jan. 22nd 2021 Once he is healed he can be adopted. ?Dash's adoption fee is set at $250.00 ??We are NOT Petfinder, We are not Adoptapet, OR Rescue me.
