About Louise

Louise is a beautiful 7-8 month old girl. Based on her shape and facial features, my best guess is something like a Weimaraner mix. She very sweet and submissive with her human but is wary of strangers at first. Her and her sister Thelma barked at me when I first met them after someone dropped them off at my vet but it didn't take long for them to trust me and there was NEVER even a hint of aggression, just fear barking. I live alone in the middle of nowhere so they haven't had much exposure to strangers so that is one thing she would need some help with. She is great with other dogs, just sometimes dominant over food but easily corrected with voice commands. I have big dogs and little dogs and she gets along with everyone. Absolutely perfect with cats (please note that all of my cats are dog friendly). She is wicked smart. Her and her sister stay on my 30 acres most of the time, except when they are acting like teenagers trying to find out what the boundaries are but they always come back when I call them if they do leave the property. She is not used to leashes so training leash walking with a harness will be necessary. She will make wonderful companion, just needs a little training to smooth out the edges. She is spayed, microchipped, current on vaccinations, on monthly flea and tick prevention, on monthly heartworm prevention, dewormed, and will have a fecal test done. She is currently in Oklahoma but can go on our next transport to WA/OR where all of our adoptions happen.
