Poor thing got bounced around a bit before coming to us; she is unsure about what has happened to her old life. BJ is shy but has shown she bonds deeply once she knows you. Once she trusts you she LOVES to cuddle with her person and be with them as much as possible. BJ knows sit and will come when called; she is good on the leash and has a low energy level. She'd love to have a new family that is home most of the time like her previous senior person was. She cannot go to a home with kids under 15 as she has never been exposed to them and chaos/loud noises are not her thing. BJ is house trained, treat motivated and would move the earth for her person. BJ does not ride well in the car and gets quite anxious and is a flight risk until she is sure about her surroundings. She will need to be kept on leash at all times when on walks, needs a secure 6' fenced yard and her new family will need to be careful with her around open doors so she doesn't spook and take off. Due to some bad experiences in her past and not getting the opportunity to socialize with other dogs when she was young BJ is picky about other dogs around her and she is not good with small animals; she really needs to be the only animal in the home. Start off 2021 with a new best friend. BJ would love to have a new best friend to shower with love.
